PROJECT DETAILS:
The project was designed for a professional couple as an “entertaining show piece” that needed to be comfortable for two, but accommodating for 20-40 people for gatherings and parties. Located above the freshly renovated River’s Edge Hotel in Portland, the corner unit is situated on the Willamette River with views to the south and east. The condo was taken down to its shell and reorganized and refinished completely. Upon entry, focus is given to the one-of-a-kind, backlit art glass, designed by Bullseye Glass. The kitchen was opened up to the living and dining room, and a section of the oversized existing living area was cordoned off for a media room. The office features a beautifully detailed, curved desk crafted from wood and blackened steel, floating in front of windows overlooking the river.
